SV looks back on a successful 2025: growth trajectory, new brand identity and first Group-wide sustainability report
Dübendorf, May 26, 2026 - The SV Group used the 2025 financial year to set a key strategic course for the future. The year was characterized by growth in all business areas, a new brand profile and the first publication of a Group-wide sustainability report in accordance with European ESRS standards.

SV generated net sales of just under CHF 670 million in 2025. Around 5,500 employees in Switzerland and Germany operated almost 500 restaurants for businesses and educational institutions as well as hotels under their own and franchise brands. In total, SV served around 26 million main meals and recorded over 1.1 million overnight stays in its hotels.
All business segments developed positively in 2025. The Business catering division won important new mandates in Switzerland and Germany. The Public Catering division benefited in particular from the strong momentum surrounding the Swiss Life Arena and the expanded mandate at the Rhine Falls.
At the same time, the hotel division continued to grow consistently: with nine new openings, SV increased its hotel portfolio by around a third to 32 hotels within a year. Germany was the key growth market. The new openings included a Stay KooooK in Munich, six hotels from the Marriott portfolio and the first Me and All Hotel - a Hyatt brand - in Berlin. In Switzerland, SV opened the Moxy Zurich at Letzigrund.
In 2025, the SV Group also celebrated its 111th anniversary. More than 1,500 employees took part in the company's anniversary event.
Sharpened 2030 strategy
"2025 was a year of further development and strategic decisions for us. We have adapted our organization, sharpened our brand and at the same time achieved positive EBIT in all business areas," says CEO Markus Binkert.
The SV Strategy 2030 continues to focus on the existing business areas, with Business Catering in Switzerland remaining the core business. Business catering in Germany and the hotel division are to be expanded in a targeted manner in order to achieve a more balanced portfolio of activities. In parallel with the strategic sharpening, the values, brand image and brand architecture were further developed and aligned with the future direction of the Group.
Changes in the Executive Board
Daniela Corboz took over as Head of Business Catering Switzerland at the beginning of May, Franziska Kuhn is now responsible for the Public Catering division and Jörg Rutschke, Head of Germany, was promoted to the Executive Board together with Corboz and Kuhn.
Further development of sustainability reporting
In 2025, SV further developed its sustainability reporting. For the first time, the report covers activities from the entire Group and is based on the European ESRS standards of the CSRD Directive.
The report makes developments and challenges in the areas of nutrition, circular economy, energy and social responsibility transparent. Food waste per main meal has been reduced by around 40 percent in SV's restaurants since 2006 and now averages 38 grams per main meal. At the same time, SV is increasingly focusing on more climate-friendly service concepts. In 2025, over 60% of recipes in the communal catering area were already vegetarian or vegan. SV relies on certified sources for fish. According to the WWF fish guide, 99.5% of the fish used comes from recommended or acceptable sources. 76% of the meat offered in Switzerland comes from IP-SUISSE farms.
With the ECO-SCORE menu orientation system from Beelong, SV relies on a tool that makes the environmental impact of dishes visible to guests. Following the successful rollout in Switzerland, ECO-SCORE is now also being introduced in restaurants in Germany. At the same time, SV is pursuing science-based climate targets, validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), and is aiming for net zero in the long term. At the same time, SV continues to drive forward the conversion of its vehicle fleet to electromobility.
Significant steps have also been taken in the hotel sector: all hotels began introducing Green Key certification in 2025, which is due to be completed in the first half of 2026.
In addition to environmental sustainability, the report also covers social issues. The Group employs people from 123 nations, is currently training 133 apprentices and invested a total of over 80,000 hours in employee training in 2025. Equal pay has been established at SV for years and remains an important part of the corporate culture. With the Group-wide program "The Way We Work", SV is systematically developing its collaboration and leadership culture. Among other things, the focus is on personal responsibility as part of teamwork, modern management methods and greater cross-divisional collaboration.
