With four houses in the final construction phase and far-reaching expansion plans, Stay KooooK has developed another room concept: homely, compact and modular. With three room types, existing buildings in particular can be used even more space-efficiently.
SV Hotel presents Cabinet, a third room type for Stay KooooK. Following Studio and Room, the company is thus launching a significant expansion of the concept within a short space of time. With the three complementary room types, the space in existing buildings can be used even better. This increases the potential for growth with Stay KooooK in city centers in the DACH region. The three room types have different features: The classic Room is designed for short stays, Studio as a classic serviced apartment for extended stays and Cabinet - with or without a kitchen, depending on the booking - for long or short stays. In the Cabinet room type, The Slide is used in a modified form: less storage space, but a work surface. The Slide can be moved to the desired location by the guest.
Further development of The Slide
In Cabinet, The Slide combines several functions as a new, open version. The sliding element functions as storage space, a shelf and now also as a work surface. It contains a swivel bistro table and visually separates the bedroom from the kitchen. Equally practical and stylish, the familiar vertical and shaker rails from the Stay KooooK Rooms and Studios can also be found in Cabinet - as can the characteristic kitchen design with lockable kitchen element, which can be booked as an option. Even more compact than the Studio, the Cabinet contains everything you need, from a sink, microwave, dishwasher and hobs to a worktop and fridge with freezer compartment. The fridge is positioned so that it is always accessible, no matter what position The Slide is in.
Next level of space efficiency
The interdisciplinary development team led by SV Hotel Managing Director Beat Kuhn set out with the premise of becoming even more space-efficient and flexible shortly after the opening of the first hotel in Bern Wankdorf. And the result is impressive: Cabinet remains true to the brand experience: guests design the room according to their needs. With the work surface, Cabinet is even better geared towards guests who also want to use the room as a workplace. Cabinet is therefore optimally tailored to the needs of extended stay guests. This means that for a stay of 8 to 28 days, it offers sufficient free and storage space for all important functions, such as sleeping, cooking and working. The airy feeling of space has been retained and the high-quality bathroom with its clever shower box, typical of Stay KooooK, also has its place in Cabinet.
The first Stay KooooK in which Cabinet is being used is currently being built in Mannheim.
