SV Group Executive Board

There are six members in SV Group Executive Board. They represent the three business units of Institutional Catering, Public Catering and Hotel, as well as the Human Resources, Finance and Development & Services Catering divisions.

Patrick Camele

Chief Executive Officer of the SV Group until October 31, 2024

Patrick Camele joined the company in 2010 as Managing Director of SV Group Switzerland. He was appointed CEO of the SV Group in 2012. Patrick Camele began his professional career at the Swiss Bank Corporation. In 1993, he was appointed National Key Account Manager Bestfoods Switzerland. From 1999 onwards, he became Managing Director of the Food Service division at Unilever in various European countries. He is a business economist from the University of Applied Sciences St. Gallen, holds an executive master’s from the University of Applied Sciences Lucerne and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in Boston in 2018.

Markus Binkert

Chief Executive Officer of the SV Group as of November 1, 2024

Markus Binkert was appointed CEO of the SV Group in 2024. Prior to this, he held numerous positions at the Lufthansa Group, including Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of SWISS from 2013 and later for Pricing, Revenue Management and Distribution. He joined Lufthansa Airline as CCO of the Munich hub in 2019 and took over marketing of the entire Lufthansa Group. In 2020, he became Chief Financial Officer of SWISS and also became responsible for Human Resources, Legal, Swiss World Cargo and Information Technology. Before joining Lufthansa, he spent his time working in F&B management positions in hotels in Hong Kong, London and New York and as a management consultant at Bain & Company. Markus Binkert holds a hotel trade qualification from the Lausanne Hotel Management School and has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, Illinois, USA.

Daniel Meier

Chief Human Resources Officer of the SV Group

Daniel Meier joined the company in 2014 as Chief Human Resources Officer and a member of the SV Group Executive Board. Before he joined SV, he held various positions in HR management, the most recent being Head of Human Resources at Coop. Prior to that, he worked in a number of roles within the hotel industry. Daniel Meier holds a degree in business administration and qualified as a restaurateur-hotelier at the hotel management school in Thun. He also trained as a Human Resources Manager at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2022.

Dirk Rosenberg

Chief Financial Officer of the SV Group

Dirk Rosenberg joined the company in 2024 as CFO and a member of the SV Group Executive Board. Before his time at SV, he was CFO of the Medbase Group from 2016 and also oversaw the IT department there. Before that, he held various roles in Finance, Treasury, Risk Management and Mergers & Acquisitions at Migros, Deloitte, Investment Banking at Citigroup in London and Credit Suisse Group in Switzerland. Dirk Rosenberg holds a lic. oec. from the University of St. Gallen and an MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.

Marcel Meier

Managing Director of Public Catering

Marcel Meier joined the SV Group as Operations Controller in 2012. After just three years, he became Group Controller and in 2017 he assumed Group-wide responsibility for the financial planning, management and control of all business areas as Director of Group Controlling. He has been a member of the SV Group Executive Board and Managing Director of Public Catering since June 1, 2022 and managed numerous restaurants before joining the SV Group. Marcel Meier is a trained chef and graduated from the Zurich Hotel Management School. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and a Master’s in Controlling from the University of Applied Sciences (HWZ). 

Marco Meier

Managing Director, SV Hotel

Marco Meier joined SV Schweiz AG in 2011 as a Business Development Manager. In 2020, he was entrusted with responsibility for the planning and construction of restaurants and hotels as Director of Design & Construction. At the end of 2022, he moved to the Hotel division and, as Director Area Operations Franchised Hotels Switzerland, was responsible for the operational business of the Marriot brands Renaissance, Courtyard and Moxy. In May 2024, he became Hotel Managing Director and a member of the SV Group Executive Board. Marco Meier holds a hotel trade qualification from the Lucerne Hotel Management School and has an Executive MBA from the University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration in Zurich.

Claudio Lermer

Chief Development & Services Officer Catering

Claudio Lermer joined the SV Group in 2021 as Senior Manager of Strategy and Innovation. He became Head of Group Strategy in 2022. Since May 2024, he has been Chief Development & Services Officer for Gastronomy and a member of the SV Group Executive Board. Before he joined SV, Claudio Lermer spent seven years working as a strategy consultant at Boston Consulting Group and most recently at IBM, where he managed projects in digital transformation, commercial development and organizational transformation for customers in the consumer goods and retail industries. Claudio holds an MA in Business Management from the University of St. Gallen.
