SV Group Executive Board

There are six members in SV Group Executive Board. They represent the three business units of Institutional Catering, Public Catering and Hotel, as well as the Human Resources, Finance and Development & Services Catering divisions.

Patrick Camele

Chief Executive Officer of the SV Group

Patrick Camele joined the company in January 2010 as Managing Director of SV Group Switzerland and was appointed CEO of SV Group on 15 November 2012. He is a business economist from the University of Applied Sciences in St. Gallen and holds an Executive MBA from the University of Applied Sciences in Lucerne. Patrick Camele began his professional career at the Swiss Bank Corporation. In 1993, he was appointed National Key Account Manager Bestfoods Switzerland. From 1999 onwards, he became Managing Director of the Food Service division at Unilever in various European countries.

Daniel Meier

Chief Human Resources Officer of the SV Group

Daniel Meier joined the company in January 2014 as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and has been a member of the Executive Board since April 2014. He completed a basic commercial apprenticeship in the banking sector and trained as a certified restaurateur-hotelier HF at the Thun College of Catering and Hotel Management and as a Human Resources Manager at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland. He also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2022. Daniel Meier began his career as a payroll accountant at the Hilton Hotel in Basel and gained further experience as an HR Manager at the Grand Hotel Regina in Grindelwald. Since 2001, he has held various positions in HR, most recently as Head of HR at Coop’s headquarters.

Dirk Rosenberg

Chief Financial Officer of the SV Group

Dirk Rosenberg has been CFO and member of the SV Group Executive Board since 1 January 2024. He has an extensive track record in the areas of finance, treasury, risk management and mergers & acquisitions. Since 2016, he has been CFO of the Medbase Group and also responsible for IT. Before that, he worked in the Corporate Finance department at Migros, in transaction consulting at Deloitte and in various financial roles in Investment Banking at Citigroup in London and at Credit Suisse Group in Switzerland. Dirk Rosenberg holds a lic. oec. from the University of St. Gallen and an MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.

Marcel Meier

Managing Director of Public Catering

Marcel Meier joined the SV Group as Operations Controller in 2012. After just three years, he became Group Controller and in 2017 he assumed Group-wide responsibility for the financial planning, management and control of all business areas as Director of Group Controlling. Marcel Meier has professionalised and developed the department even more in order to be able to manage businesses based on key figures. He has been a member of the Executive Board and Managing Director of Public Catering since 1 June 2022. Marcel Meier is a trained chef and graduated from the Zurich Hotel Management School. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and a Master’s in Controlling from the University of Applied Sciences (HWZ). He managed numerous restaurants before joining the SV Group.

Marco Meier

Managing Director, SV Hotel

Marco Meier has extensive experience in the hotel industry. He gained his first professional experience before he completed his apprenticeship as a hotelier at Gastrag, where he worked as a bartender and assistant restaurant and hotel manager. He joined SV Schweiz AG in 2011 as a Business Development Manager. He then moved to Group level and, from 2020, took on responsibility for the planning and construction of restaurants and hotels in the German-speaking region as Director of Design & Construction. During this time, he was involved in the development of the studio concept for Stay KooooK. He moved to SV Hotel at the end of 2022 where, as Director Area Operations Franchise Hotels Switzerland, he is responsible for operations at four hotels under the Marriott brands Renaissance, Courtyard and Moxy. Under his leadership, Switzerland’s first Residence Inn by Marriott will open in Geneva in early May. Marco Meier holds a hotel trade qualification from the Lucerne Hotel Management School and has an Executive MBA from the University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration in Zurich.  

Claudio Lermer

Chief Development & Services Officer Catering

Claudio Lermer has been Chief Development & Services Officer Catering and a member of the SV Group Executive Board since 1 May 2024. He joined the SV Group as Senior Manager Strategy and Innovation in May 2021. In September 2022, he was promoted to Head of Group Strategy. He supported the Group Executive Board in the strategy process and led numerous projects and strategic initiatives. He has been a member of the Executive Board as Chief Development & Services Officer Catering since May 2024. Before joining the SV Group, Claudio Lermer worked as a strategy consultant for seven years. Most recently, he has led projects at IBM as a Senior Managing Consultant in the areas of digital transformation, digital business models and organisational transformation. Prior to that, he spent five years as a strategy consultant at Boston Consulting Group, supporting clients in the consumer goods and retail sectors with strategy development and digital transformation. Claudio holds an MA in Business Management from the University of St. Gallen.
