The award-winning room element The Slide is the outstanding feature of the studios and a novelty in the hotel industry. An interdisciplinary team consisting of interior designers, engineers, architects, carpenters, digital and hospitality experts worked on its development with the aim of offering all the amenities guests desire for a long-term stay in a small space. The Slide allows the studios to be adapted to suit the respective needs of the situation. The space can be transformed into a lounge, living room or open space without any effort or exertion: The Slide either frees up space for the 1.60-metre-wide bed or for a fully equipped kitchen – in the Family Studios, this also includes a washing machine and dryer.

Instead of a traditional lobby, the communal area known as The Flat, which is exclusively accessible to guests, serves as a meeting place, workspace and retreat. In addition, a communal kitchen with a large community table invites guests to cook, eat and relax together. Guests can find peace and quiet in the green room, while games fans will enjoy the games room. Many locations also have outdoor areas such as terraces or courtyards.

What The Slide has in its studios, the rooms have in their specially designed bed modules. These not only ensure a restful night's sleep, but also offer everything else a guest could need: a desk, pull-out shelves, lights and an integrated hook rail (Shaker Rail). Guests can use this to hang up clothes, pillows, luggage racks, bags, laptop work surfaces and much more, thus creating space.

In Cabinet, The Slide combines several functions in a new, open version. The sliding element serves as storage space, a shelf and now also as a work surface. It contains a swivelling bistro table and visually separates the bedroom from the kitchen. The lockable kitchen element can be added as an option. Even more compact than in the studio, the mini kitchen in Cabinet contains everything you need, from a sink, microwave, dishwasher and hob to a work surface and fridge with freezer compartment. The fridge is positioned so that it is always accessible, regardless of the position of The Slide.

During the development of Stay KooooK, traditional hotel processes were analysed and reviewed in order to optimise them from the guest's perspective and streamline the classic check-in and check-out processes. All touchpoints are digitised and combined in a practical web app. Guests can handle all transactions, from booking to opening the door, in the web app. Hosts also benefit from this, as they have more time for their guests. Hospitality and personal guest contact are at the heart of the Stay KooooK brand. SV also makes this innovative technology available to other hospitality companies. More than 3,000 rooms are already managed using the platform, called LikeMagic.
