Stay KooooK offers the widest range of features and maximum comfort in central locations at an affordable price. Depending on the location, there are studios and family studios designed for long stays, or rooms and family rooms for shorter stays. With Stay KooooK, guests can experience a modern, minimalist yet cosy style of living with flexible room elements. They can meet hosts who know the area, take part in events, and take care of all the admin independently in the web app.

The Slide

The award-winning room element The Slide is the outstanding feature of the studios and a first in the hotel industry. An interdisciplinary team of interior designers, engineers, architects, carpenters, digital experts and hospitality professionals worked on its development with the aim of offering all the comforts that guests need for a long-term stay within a small space. With The Slide, the studios can be continually adapted to the guests’ current needs. The room can be transformed into a recreation room, living room or open space without any particular strength or effort required: The Slide makes room either for the 1.60-metre-wide bed or for a fully equipped kitchen – in the Family Studios there is also a washing machine and dryer.

The Flat

Instead of a traditional lobby there is a communal area called The Flat, which is exclusively accessible to guests and serves as a meeting zone, workspace and retreat. In addition, a communal kitchen with a large community table gives you the chance to cook, eat and simply hang around together. Guests can find peace and quiet in the Green Room, while gaming fans will get their money’s worth in the Games Room. Many locations also feature outdoor areas such as terraces and courtyards.

Room

In the studios you have The Slide; in the rooms you have the specially designed bed module. This not only ensures you get a good night’s sleep, but also offers everything else you might need: a desk, pull-out shelves, lights and an integrated hook rail (Shaker rail). You can use these to hang up clothes, pillows, suitcases, bags, your laptop mat and much more – they’re an easy space-saver.

Cabinet

The Cabinet is the new, open version of The Slide that combines several features. The movable element serves as storage space, shelving and now also as a work surface. It includes a pivoting bistro table and visually separates the sleeping area from the kitchen. The lockable kitchen element can be booked as an optional extra. Even more compact than in the studio, the mini-kitchen in the Cabinet includes everything you need, from the sink, microwave, dishwasher and hob to the countertop and fridge with freezer compartment. The fridge is positioned in such a way that it is always accessible, no matter what position The Slide is in.

The Stay KooooK web app

During the development of Stay KooooK, traditional hotel procedures were analysed and tested in order to make them as easy for guests to use as possible, and to optimise the traditional check-in and check-out processes. All the touchpoints have been digitalised and combined in a practical web app. Guests can complete all transactions in the web app, from making their booking through to the moment they open the door. The hosts also benefit, as it means they have more time for their guests. This keeps hospitality and personal contact with guests at the heart of the Stay KooooK brand. The SV Group also makes this innovative technology available to other hospitality companies. More than 3,000 rooms are already being managed with the likeMagic platform.

The hosts

The hosts at Stay KooooK do not stand behind a reception desk; they work in The Flat. As a local team, they are there for guests, organise events and make sure that everyone in the communal area feels at home.

Award-winning concept

The Stay KooooK brand has attracted a great deal of interest among industry experts and has already won numerous awards in its short history. In 2019, it received the Hotel Innovations Award from GastroSuisse. In 2021, the brand took first place in the following rankings: the Serviced Apartments Awards in London in the Best Use of Technology category, the coveted iF DESIGN AWARD for hotel interior design, the Best Emerging Concept prize at the Gold Key Awards, and the DACH Customer Experience Award in the Hospitality category. In the same year, Beat Kuhn, Managing Director of the SV Group, won the Special Award as Hotelier of the Year. The app received a special mention in the Excellent Communications Design category of the 2022 German Design Award for its pioneering design, intuitive operation and wide range of possible applications.
