Shareholders

A story of corporate responsibility unlike any other: in 1914, a unique social and entrepreneurial commitment began with the “Schweizer Verband Soldatenwohl”, an organization promoting soldiers’ welfare. It was the start of a success story: founded by Else Züblin-Spiller for the purpose of running soldiers’ mess rooms, the organization developed over the decades into an important, socially anchored company for institutional catering. In 1999, this led to the creation of SV Group AG, a market-oriented company, and the non-profit SV Foundation.

As the supporting foundation, the SV Foundation is the majority shareholder of SV Group AG and supports it in its corporate and social goals.

As a grant-making foundation, the SV Foundation supports projects that promote the health, wellbeing and quality of life of the general population. To achieve this goal, the SV Foundation works to ensure that a healthy and balanced diet is accessible and affordable for all age groups and social classes. In doing so, it makes an important contribution to society.

Annual General Meetings

The SV Group’s Annual General Meeting, to which all shareholders are invited, takes place in spring every year.

2023 Annual General Meeting

After two years marked by pandemic-related losses, the SV Group closed the 2022 financial year with a positive operating result. Institutional catering has largely recovered. Public catering was able to benefit from celebrations that had previously been delayed such as birthdays, weddings and anniversaries. The diverse range of catering options at the Swiss Life Arena was launched successfully in September. In the hotel segment, the expansion strategy of our own brand Stay KooooK was further implemented by securing additional locations. At the SV Group, economic, environmental and social sustainability are effectively interlinked. With strategic partnerships, the company ensures that it focuses on effective measures and not on gimmicks.
