SV Hotel announces another Stay KooooK location in Germany. Construction in Mannheim city center will begin in 2024.
Dübendorf, January 18, 2024 - Two hotels are in operation, those in Geneva and Leipzig will open in the coming months, two more are under construction in Hamburg and Munich - and the next project in Germany is already in the bag. The Swiss hospitality company SV Hotel has announced that construction work on the new Mannheim City location will begin in 2024. True to the brand standard, the latest property of the innovative serviced apartment brand is also in a central city center location. The mix of studios and rooms will be finalized in the coming weeks. The brand's trademark for self-determined travel has also been established for Mannheim: multifunctional rooms and the inviting communal area The Flat. Individual studios have balconies, an additional plus for long-term guests who want to feel at home.
As the center of the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region, Mannheim is a highly frequented destination, especially in a business context. Demand for serviced apartments in particular has risen sharply here in recent years. The future Stay KooooK Mannheim City in the central Kurpfalzstrassee will meet this demand. On the first floor of the modern building, a REWE City market will cover daily needs and on the top floor, guests will find a roof terrace with a public restaurant.
Arlett Hoff, Director Development at SV Hotel, on the portfolio growth: "Mannheim is a hidden gem among the German B cities. The city has a large surplus demand in extended stay, driven by the renowned university and research, a strong corporate base and numerous conferences and events throughout the year. Our Stay KooooK brand, centrally located two minutes from the market square, will set new accents in the lifestyle serviced apartment sector and absorb this demand."
The investor is Sahin Karaaslan, operator of the future REWE City store. "I am investing in the Stay KooooK concept from SV Hotel because I believe in the quality of the product and am convinced that we can close a gap in supply in Mannheim with this offer," says Karaaslan about his investment. The independent consulting firm tophotel immobilien GmbH advised the investor on specialist matters and brokered the conclusion of the lease. "We appreciate the intensive, constructive and fair negotiations with SV Hotel AG and are delighted that this central project is now coming to life," says Thomas Röckelein, CEO of tophotel immobilien GmbH.
